Meet the Disabled and Neurodivergent Alliance !

Our mission:

The purpose of the DNA is to create a community of Disabled and Neurodivergent students in pursuit of activism, community-building, and disability justice under an intersectional framework which seeks to center those who live at the axis of multiple forms of oppression. We aim to educate and work with students, faculty, and staff to better understand what it means to have an accessible campus.

Why does this matter?

It can be difficult for disabled and/or neurodivergent members of the community to navigate a rigorous college life at the same time as learning about their needs or how to advocate for them. We deserve a space to learn about their accessibility needs, as well as a space in which to voice any concerns regarding such on campus. Plus, everyone benefits when we all strive for accessibility!
